夏の富山・鉄道風景 その３ － Images of the railway of Toyama in summer: part ３

タイトルを富山の鉄道風景に変更しました。富山の象徴的な食や文化の写真が無く、このままでは富山の方に怒られそうです。
－　Title of articles has just changed, as "the railway of Toyama". Unfortunately, no photos of typical cuisine and culture of Toyama were taken..

 富山駅の新幹線側です。
新幹線が通ってくると、駅やその周辺は大きく変わりますね。華やかな彩の今とこれからの富山を象徴するかのようです。
- Introduction of Shinkansen changed the appearance of Toyama station.
Modern exterior of the station represents recent image of Toyama.

富山市駅から岩瀬浜を結ぶ、富山ライトレール、通称”ポートラム”。朝の東岩瀬駅を発車していきます。
かつては国鉄・JRのローカル線でしたが、大胆に近代的なトラムに変身したことで知られています。市内から路面電車で海岸へ、、羨ましいシチュエーションですね。
-  Toyama Light Rail so called "Portram" has run between Toyama station and Iwase beach.
This modern tram line was converted from old JR line in year 2006. Passengers anytime can go to the beach from city center by "Portram".

富山の鉄道編はここまで。いつか、また、行きたいですね。

夏の富山・鉄道風景 その２ － Images of the railway of Toyama in summer: part 2

もうちょっと、風景を撮るべきでしたが、結局、電車の写真ばかりなってしまいました。。
富山地方鉄道の寺田駅のスナップです。ここは二つの路線が交わる要衝ですが、趣のあるとても魅力的な駅です。構造は珍しいY字型といっても、難しいですね。
ー　Here are snap shots at Terada station of Toyama Chihou Railway. This station is junction of two main lines.

 立山と宇奈月温泉を結ぶ特急がやってきました。登山客や観光客の御用達列車でしょうか。
ー Limited Express from Tateyama to Unazuki Onsen arrived at the station. Passengers on the train would be climbers and tourists.

 駅待合室内の古風なベンチ。どっしりとして、今でも現役です。外は暑くて出られません。冬にはこの前にストーブが出されるのかな。。
- Old wooden bench still has been used in the waiting room of the station.

 所謂、駅猫です。さすがの猛暑で、ぐったりと昼寝中。これでは駅長は務まらないですね。
- So called "Station Cat", as you can see many in Japan. Some of them worked as "honorary station master".

強い西日の中、人々がホームで電車を待っています。
90年近く、人々の生活の中にあった駅で、この先も変わらない光景ですね。
- Passengers were waiting the train on the platform of Terada station.
Nearly 90 years of history, this station has sustained the life of local people.
This scene would never change in the future.

夏の富山・鉄道風景 その１ － Images of the railway of Toyama in summer: part 1

休みに富山県を訪問しました。
鉄道を中心にそのイメージカットを出していきたいと思います。
－　Here are Images of Toyama area visited in summer holiday are shown. (But, topics of photos are the railway and train mainly.)

 富山駅から宇奈月温泉まで向かう富山地方鉄道の電車です。爽やかな塗装ですね。
朝の陽ざしが眩しいですが、ちょっと雲行きが怪しい。。

Terminal station is famous for hot spring as well as the gate for mountain climbing.

窓の外は富山平野の田園です。往年の赤いシートと程よいコントラストですね。
北アルプスの水で育つ米は格別でしょう。
- The train run in the rice field of Toyama plain. Old seats shined in the morning light.

黒部川を渡る黒部峡谷鉄道のトロッコ列車。 黒部峡谷沿いに、終点の欅平まで375ｍの高低差を登っていく山岳鉄道です。この日は、終点まで往復しましたが、山の麓は雲の中、大雨でした。

夏の燕－Swallows

長野県内の道の駅で撮影した燕のヒナ達。－Young swallows in the nest, ready to leave it. (Photo taken at Nagano pref.)

他の巣は既に空っぽで最後に残った子たちのようです。巣立ちも目前で、親鳥と共に南に帰っていくのですね。来年、また元気に戻ってきてほしいと思います。
- Young birds may fly to southern countries soon. Hoping, they come back to Japan next summer, to see again.

夏の宵 － Evening of the summer

凄まじい酷暑も何とか終わりが見えてきたような気がします。夜も気温がさがっているような。そんな夏の休日、夕方のスナップです。
－　It seems the hard heat weather has come to end. People may have relieved by such premonition. These are snapshots taken in the summer evening time.

避暑とんぼ－Dragonfly in summer vacation

異常な酷暑がもう一月も続いています。さすがの暑さに蚊も出てきません。
トンボ達もエサが減って難儀しているのかも。（栃木県の鬼怒川温泉にて）
－Abnormal heat is still ongoing in Japan. Dragonfly has escaped from town to mountain area until the end of summer season. (at Kinugawa Onsen (hot spring) in Tochigi pref.)
