都電沿線の薔薇 - Roses planned along Tokyo Tram line

 東京で唯一残った都電荒川線。この時期、沿線の薔薇が見ごろを迎えます。（三ノ輪駅にて）
- Tokyo Tram line so called 'Toden', one of the survived trams in east part of Japan is operated by Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Roses planned along the line, which have been their peak in flowering recently. (Minowa station in Arakawa City)

沿線沿いのバラ園のようで見事なものです。関係者の方の努力に頭が下がります。（三ノ輪付近）

バラの花は特に荒川区内で壮観でした。但し、晴天の日は、日中は日差しが厳しいですね。朝夕の涼しい時期が良いのでしょうか。
- Sun light in day time has already been hard to walk around. It would be better to take a time in morning or evening.

5月の入道雲 - Giant clouds so called 'Nyudou-gumo'

夕方、関東平野上空に大きな積乱雲－入道雲が上空に現れました。
いよいよ、梅雨近しという感じで、空気が爽やかな季節とも当分はお別れです。
- Big cloud was seen in the upper sky, the start of the rainy season would be expected in the early days of June. (at Saitama pref.)

太平洋 －Pacific Ocean

5月もあと、一週間となりました。梅雨入りの前に、連休中に撮った九十九里浜のカットを載せたいと思います。

週末の空 - Weekend sky

先週末、暖気と冷気が交互に入れ替わり、妙な感じでした。
雲は夏っぽく、でも、空は秋っぽい印象。今年はどんな夏になるのかな。（東京都北区にて）

田植えの頃 － Rice field on the water

関東は田植えの時期を迎えました。河川や農業用水から一斉に水が入り、田園の世界に変わります。9月の刈取り期まで、しっかり稲が育ってほしいですね。
 - Planting of the rice has started around the agricultural lands in Japan. There look like  the world of water, as typical since of asian countries.

夏の予感 － A feeling of the summer

首都圏の水瓶の一つ、荒川の上流付近です。
川の流れと涼風と、日暮れ時は早くも夏の装いのように感じました。
－　Arakawa river brings fresh air which smell the summer. (at Saitama pref.)

路傍の花も青色系が美しく見えるようになりました。何の花でしょうか。
－　Blue flowers unknown on the road side.

風の強い日に －Windy day

5月の連休後半、太平洋岸は風が吹き荒れました。
千葉県の九十九里浜、浜辺を砂が川のように流れていました。
－　Strong wind blew at Kujukuri beach, it seemed a sand river. (photo taken at Chiba pref.)

海も大荒れ。
天気は晴朗なれど、波高しというところで、憩う余裕もなく引き上げました。

昼下がりの植物園 － Botanical garden in early afternoon

連休の前半、暑かったですね。
陽気は既に初夏を通り越してしまったかのよう。植物園のつつじも既に終わっており、花壇の花もちょっと、ぐったりとしていました。（埼玉県グリーンセンターにて）
